ruggedfun is a game. Everything on this site is simulated: the tokens, prices, market caps, traders, trades, holders, chat messages and leaderboards. “SOL” here is fake play money with no real-world value. It can't be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for anything. No real cryptocurrency or blockchain is involved, and nothing here is financial advice.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of ruggedfun.xyz (the “Site”). By creating a wallet or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

1. A simulation, for entertainment only

The Site is a game that imitates a memecoin launchpad. All tokens, prices, charts, market caps, liquidity, traders, trades, holders, “dev” activity, rugs, callouts and chat messages are generated by software or fictional. Outcomes are randomized and do not reflect any real market.
“SOL”, wallet balances, positions, profits and losses on the Site are play money with no monetary value. They cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for money, cryptocurrency, goods or services, and we will never offer to do so.
No real cryptocurrency, blockchain, wallet or exchange is used or connected. Wallet addresses shown are fake.
Token names, tickers, images and usernames are randomly generated or chosen by players. Any resemblance to real projects, tokens, companies or people is coincidental. The Site is not affiliated with pump.fun, Solana, or any other real platform, token or project.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Results in this game say nothing about how real markets behave. Real cryptocurrency trading, including memecoins, is highly risky and you can lose all of your money. Don't make real financial decisions based on anything you see here.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. Because the Site imitates speculative trading, don't use it if doing so could encourage harmful gambling or trading habits.

4. Your account

Accounts are tied to a cookie in your browser. If you clear your cookies or switch devices, you lose access to the account, and we can't recover it.
You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You can start a new account at any time from the wallet menu. Your previous account and its history stay in the game (including on leaderboards) but can no longer be accessed. We may suspend, reset or delete accounts, balances, positions, leaderboards or game data at any time, for any reason, including to fix bugs or abuse.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

pick usernames or post chat messages that are hateful, harassing, sexual, threatening or illegal;
impersonate other people or organizations;
use bots or scripts to create accounts or trade in bulk, or to abuse rate limits;
exploit bugs, attack, probe or overload the Site or its infrastructure;
present play-money results as real earnings, or use the Site to promote real tokens, scams or financial schemes.

5a. Launching tokens

Launching costs play money and creates a simulated token. Its outcome is randomized like every other token on the Site. Launching earns you nothing beyond what you make trading it, and the token is not yours in any real sense.
Names, tickers, descriptions and images must follow the acceptable-use rules above. Don't imitate real projects, brands or people. We may rename, hide or remove any token at any time, without refunds.

6. No warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. The game may contain bugs, may change at any time, and may be unavailable, reset or shut down without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, including any decision you make, on or off the Site, based on it. Because play money has no value, losing it is not a loss of anything of value. In any case, the operator's total liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to zero U.S. dollars (US$0), or the lowest amount allowed by law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify the operator of the Site against claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the Site, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
